This Art Piece was inspired by the "Novel/Film " A Street Car Named Desire. A classic film shot here in New Orleans when The Desire Line ran from 1920 to 1948, at the height of streetcar use in New Orleans. The route ran down Royal, through the Quarter, to Desire Street .
